Parent’s Weekend Co-Op Stand

Despite the rain and chilly weather, we brought out the Co-op for parents weekend, utilizing the warm and cozy atmosphere of Down Commons. Amidst handpicked sunflowers and herbs from the Purple Carrot Farm, including fresh kale and thyme, several members of the group sold coffee, tea, and other goodies to eager parents and students (pictures soon to be posted). We also started the new punch card system, to allow people to purchase credit on a card, and then be able to buy produce from the Co-op in the future without using cash! The stand will be out again tomorrow for the soccer game, if the weather permits, starting at 1:30 PM. We will be selling baked goods, punch cards, fresh farm produce, coffee, and “dirty chai”, a warm chai espresso drink. Stop by for warm treats and conversation!
